There's nothing worse than biting into an undercooked chicken wing. Not only can you get sick, it's a total gastronomical turn-off.

So what's the ideal temp for chicken wings? 165°F is the “safe to eat” temperature — and wings cooked to 175°F are so delicious they’ll make your tastebuds sing!

How do you know when wings are done? Pull a drumette out of your heat source and insert a meat thermometer into the meat. Again, 165°F is the minimum temp, but 175°F is the sweet spot for delectable wings!

Why 175°F? Wings cooked to 175°F are the juiciest and most tender because the collagen melts at this temperature.
