How to Cook  Sous Vide  Smoked Brisket

Love smoking brisket but hate the stress? Sous vide smoked brisket is truly fantastic with far less effort and opportunity for error.

Ingredients

SOUS VIDE SMOKED BRISKET

8 LB BRISKET BEEF YOUR FAVORITE  BBQ RUB

Set your sous vide to 155°F.

Trim, dry, and season the brisket.

INSTRUCTIONS

Vacuum seal the brisket, then place your sealed bag in the sous vide bath and cook for  ~30 hours.

Remove the bag with brisket and drop it into an ice bath for 30 minutes.

Place the brisket in the fridge, for up to 1 week, until ready to smoke.

Prepare your smoker, target 250°F / 121°C.

Remove the brisket from the bag, pat dry and reapply seasoning.

Smoke the brisket indirect for 2.5 hours, fat cap side up.

Pull from smoker. Let rest 20 minutes. 

Slice, serve, and enjoy!
