One of the most economical ways to enjoy wing flats is to cut your own from whole wings. Here's how in 3 easy steps!

Pat it dry with a paper towel, then place it on a cutting  board with the thicker  skin side down.

1. dry & stretch the whole wing

Make two incisions: one in the joint between the drumette and the flat, and another between the flat and the tip.

2. Find the ridges & make incisions

Finish cutting through the two incisions until you have 3 parts: drumette, flat, and wing tip.
