Ingredients You’ll Need

Before we get going, here’s the ingredients you’re going to need!

  • Eggs
  • Cottage Cheese
  • Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
  • Shredded Gruyere Cheese
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Cooked Bacon
  • Cooking Spray

One of our kids is not a fan of bacon so I actually make this exact recipe without the bacon and she loves it. If you’re the same way, this recipe works perfectly even when omitting the bacon pieces from it.

Sous Vide Equipment Needed

We bought these Jelly Jars from Amazon and they’re so nice! They’re easy to use, great for the sous vide and also useful for things like homemade sauces, etc.

When you put the top on, screw it on tight but not over tight. I like to twist it on tight and then unscrew it just a tiny bit. You don’t want to over-tighten your jars or they could break.

When it comes to type of sous vide machine, we personally own and use the Anova Precision Sous Vide cooker. It’s easy to use and great for beginners!

As you can see, we also used sous vide balls for our water bath to keep the heat in. This is optional since your cooking time isn’t as long as other foods.

We also own and love our Vitamix. We use it daily for everything from smoothies to these egg bites to soup!
